Casual cafe style clean. Unlicensed. Not big on atmosphere but who cares you come here for the food. Foodies take note! Well worth a visit and you’ll see other dishes you’ll want to return for. If you don’t like Spicy head for Maccas . This is HUNAN food as good as you will get outside of China or possibly better given the fresher and more secure kiwi grown ingredients. For the more faint hearted there are less piquant dishes such hainan chicken. We ordered 3 mains and steamed rice as well as the cold appetiser. The cooked dishes arrived one by one within 10 minutes before we had finished the appetiser. We were only 2 people yet the three dishes could have stretched out to four of us easily. Still our daughter was more than happy with the take out leftovers. Prices were reasonable food excellent. Remember as unlicensed the place survives on the quality of food. I was the only non Chinese in the place which is always a good sign. Of quality and value. I will be back for dinner before too long.

So far, dined here twice now in span of 2wks. Place is new, clean and organized. Food here are tasty but a little bit salty sometimes, chef, please go easy on salt. Also, side dishes a little pricey here compare to others. Staff friendly, all Chinese speaking but mostly bilingual but will go along way if you go easy on them especially during peak hours. All in all, a Good place to dine and enjoy a good bowl of 🍜.

1st visit. The food was fresh and good. Not salty or too spicy despite all the chili oil and chillies in the photos. Love the cleanliness and bright ambience. The chinese tea isn't free but for only a small price, you can taste their fragrant with a tinch of fruitiness tea. I think its worth to try their tea. Food came promptly one after another within a few minutes. Service was friendly and helpful to explain some of the dishes. Speaks English well too unlike their Albany branch where only one person spoke English when I was last there. Verdict: will revisit and try other dishes.

We loved the food. We ordered Sweet & Sour pork with pineapple wedges & the signature stirred rice noodle with pork mince. The staff are friendly and accomodating. Their portions are huge, good for sharing. Place is clean although it feels tight. We'll be back.

The food was great, and the service was good. Food was served fast. They were being very considerate with young kids, with kid's recommendations on the menu, kids' cutlery sets that are so pretty as well as kid's seat. The only thing to improve is the seating, as I think they're a bit too crowded and it is hard to move around.
